Building the future: the Neuroage Collaborative Approach
A growing share of urban residents will be living with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s or another neurodegenerative condition. Are they in the room when our cities are designed, or do they only show up in the impact reports afterward? As populations age, innovation has a lot to offer. Early diagnosis, new therapeutics, digital health tools and assistive technologies can all help people stay healthy, independent and connected for longer. They only work, though, if they are built around the needs of the people who will use them. In this session, We bring together three perspectives: patients and relatives who live with these conditions every day, technology builders developing the tools, and the research and innovation community that links them.
Caring without limits: purposeful innovation in mental health and psychogeriatrics
An inspiring session exploring the key challenges and opportunities of person-centred care. Through reflections on values and the ethics of caregiving, the role of technology, the transformative experience of the Caring Without Limits project, and the scientific evaluation of outcomes, the speakers will share insights, tools, and experiences to help advance more human, innovative, and effective care models.
